William Velie
Senior Attorney
William Velie received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Native American Studies from the University of California at Berkeley in 1991 and graduated from the University Of Oklahoma College Of Law in 1995 . He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and Oklahoma Supreme Court. William has been practicing Immigration law for almost two decades. He practices immigration law throughout the United States.

Craig D. McDougal
Senior Attorney
Craig McDougal received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Oklahoma in 2000 and graduated from the Oklahoma College of Law in 2005. He is a member of Oklahoma Bar Association and American Immigration Lawyers Association. Craig brings nearly a decade of financial expertise to Velie.us. He has enjoyed a career in banking and has emerged over the past years as a talent in the legal world of immigration, corporate business solutions as well as personal injury and property damage settlements. Craig’s legal forte focuses primarily on visas for corporate professionals and investors.

Jack N. Velie
Attorney
Jack N. Velie earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Colorado in 2019 before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2023. He is an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Jack manages the firm’s temporary visa cases and has extensive experience preparing and filing H-2A, H-2B, H-1B, O-1, P-1, TN, R-1, and EB-1 petitions. His work spans a wide range of industries, including agriculture, equine sports, athletics, academia, business, healthcare, and the arts.
Jack is committed to providing practical and strategic legal guidance while helping employers, professionals, athletes, and organizations successfully navigate the U.S. immigration system.
Outside the office, Jack enjoys traveling, playing piano, bowling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on Oklahoma football and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Kyle B. Cummings
Attorney
Kyle B. Cummings earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Texas A&M University in 2018 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2023. He joined William Velie Attorney at Law, PLLC as an attorney after serving as a legal intern with the firm for two years during law school.
Kyle is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He works with individuals, families, employers, and organizations on a variety of immigration matters and is committed to providing responsive, client-focused representation. Drawing on his training and experience with the firm, Kyle helps clients navigate complex immigration processes with confidence and clarity.
Outside of his legal practice, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, Bear, and is an avid supporter of both the Texas A&M Aggies and the Oklahoma Sooners.

Briian Newhouse-Velie
Director of Operations and Financial Administrator
Briian earned a B. A. English Literature from the University of California at Berkeley in 1990. She also has a M.A. in Leadership Administration from the University of Oklahoma which she received in 2008. With over a decade of experience in management, Briian serves as the Director of Operations. Briian enjoys reading the classics, museum hopping, Mardi Gras parades, and karaoke every chance she gets!

Kinsey Neiderer
Assistant Director of Operations
Kinsey Neiderer earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2022 as well as a Master’s degree in Adult Education, Administration, and Management in 2024, both from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. As the Assistant Operations Manager at Velie.us, Kinsey is responsible for overseeing accounts payable, administrative duties, and event planning, ensuring smooth operational processes across the firm.
Outside of work, Kinsey enjoys watching basketball, cultivating her plant collection, and spending time with family and friends.

Laura Davidson
Coordinator for Labor Certification, Employment Based Green Cards, and Non-Immigrant Visas
Laura Davidson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with minors in Meteorology and Spanish from the University of Oklahoma in 2016. Laura serves as a Coordinator, reviewing and overseeing client files and preparing many types of temporary work visa petitions, including H-1B, TN, L-1, J, and R-1, as well as permanent residency visas. When she’s not assisting clients, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and watching college football in the fall.

Lane Miller
Coordinator for H2B and H2A Visas
Lane Miller earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2016. He has a background in the Oklahoma printing industry and has several years of management experience that inform his professional style. He is a lead case manager of H2A/H2B visas and RFE/NOD preparation. Lane has multiple accolades in saugeye fishing and often admires the beauty of various lakes in the Tri-City area on his expeditions.

Alina Ford
Lead Case Manager for the NVC and the Consular Processing
Ali is a Lead Case Manager for the NVC and the Consular Processing area for our Firm. Her practice primary focuses on helping our clients reunite all the information and documents in all their immigrant process to become US Legal Residents through their Job and have their families joint them as US Legal Residents. As a member of our team, Ali provides personalized attention to every client that calls for assistance. Ali also has broad experience working in health care and the area of Education through the administrative area, sales, and bilingual services, she enjoys assisting business in the Human Resources Area and she has worked supporting people with disabilities to reach their goals. Ali has developed projects for diverse Communities and has been part of Community activities specially facilitating communication and translating to immigrant families. Ali values diversity and enjoys multicultural activities.

Juliana Cifuentes Cepeda
Graphic Designer
Juliana earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2020, and her MBA & MS in Project Management from Oklahoma Christian University in 2023. She has a rich background in multimedia design, digital illustration, motion graphics, web design and project management. When she is not designing, she is swimming, reading comics, or watching Pride and Prejudice for the 100x time.

Paulina Castillo earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the National University of Colombia in 2023, and her Master’s degree in Data Science and Analytics from the University of Oklahoma in 2025. Staff Accountant
Olivia Stobbe earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Oklahoma State University in 2025. Olivia serves as the Staff Accountant, helping to oversee financial records, reconciling accounts and supporting the firm’s day to day financial operations. Maria Garcia Melean
Case Manager for Employment Based Visas
Maria Garcia Melean earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2026 from the University of Oklahoma. Maria serves as the Lead Case Manager for Labor Certifications; she coordinates recruitment activities required for PERM cases, including job postings, advertisements, candidate tracking, and preparing labor certification forms, supporting documents, and case filings.

Aylin Rubio
Case Manager for H2A & H2B Visas
Aylin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Oklahoma in May 2026 where she majored in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. She was an active member of Latinos Without Borders and Connection Student Engagement, where she supported mentorship programs, leadership, and community engagement. Aylin is taking a gap year to focus on preparing for the LSAT before pursuing law school. Outside of work and studying, Aylin enjoys running, reading, and dancing.

Wesley Bergersen
Case Manager for Temporary Visas
Wesley Bergersen graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Spanish. Wesley’s academic background has given him a firm foundation in research and communication as well as a strong command of the Spanish language. Wesley oversees client files for temporary workers, preparing visa petitions including O, P, H-1B, J, TN, EB-1, and E-3 visas.
When he’s out of the office, Wesley is a musician involved with several different projects, playing gigs almost every weekend.
